The “Seeing the Light” project combined multiple creative and technical elements into one unique VR experience.

Commissioned by the Municipality of Nahariya, the goal was to present the winning architectural plan for the renewal of the Ga'aton River area, allowing local residents to virtually experience the upcoming transformation across different parts of the city.

The script, written by Yigal Amor, was brought to life through live-action shooting at key locations in Nahariya, led by local actress and model Ingrid Feldman. We integrated the winning architectural designs directly into the filmed scenes, creating a seamless blend between reality and the planned future.

To achieve this, we extracted precise filming locations from the architectural files, converted the plans into a customized 3D environment using Unreal Engine, and composited them with the filmed footage using Mistika Boutique’s advanced capabilities.

The final video premiered during a festive Hanukkah event hosted by the Municipality of Nahariya. VR2GO operated the VR headsets on-site, giving hundreds of residents an exciting glimpse into the city’s future.
