Both Of Us
Directed by Royi Rozen as his final project at Tel Aviv University master of fine arts, this narrative short film was a bold exploration of virtual production and immersive storytelling.
Filmed in a green screen studio, the shoot was powered by real-time visualization through Unreal Engine — allowing us to monitor the final environment live on set. The virtual world itself was built from volumetric scans of real urban streets, lending the dystopian setting a striking sense of realism and depth.
We also implemented camera tracking synced with the virtual environment, ensuring seamless alignment between physical movement and digital space. This allowed for cinematic camera work within fully digital scenes — merging traditional filmmaking and XR innovation.
Royi’s vision pushed immersive storytelling to the edge, using the medium not just for spectacle, but to serve a narrative that was both intimate and expansive. A true creative highlight.
